"Earthworks essence revolves around the way it captures the colour and place that is St Ives, a blend of the contemporary with a reminder of those things that reassure us that effortless design is a pacifier. The skill of the Earthworks folk is that they can intermingle their design ideas with what was contemporary in the 1930’s and 40’s. It is, in many ways I suppose, their response to living and working in West Cornwall, on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean; the sense of place and colour, that also captures a wider understanding of this coastal community and the history of the arts in the town. Everything has an engaging beauty about it, that of landscape, and of colour and light; things that are mood changers, yet functional and decorative at the same time"

We work from a studio overlooking the St Ives Bay and have used our artwork to produce a series of vibrant collections.

Earthworks interior collections now include cushions, lampshades, placemats, as well as prints and original paintings. All of the items are made in the UK and the lampshades are hand-made in St Ives. 

Earthworks is continually evolving as our new design collections develop. As our business has expanded we moved from our shop on Fish Street in St Ives and all of our collections are now available exclusively online.

We will keep all of our subscribers and customers updated with news of our latest projects, collections, events and special offers.

We undertake commissions and design consultations. We have recently started a collaboration with a leading UK glass manufacturer and can now offer large scale glass panels and splash backs using our original artwork.
